This Time Last Year (March)

...we were camping in Escalante Canyon after having gone to see the sand hill cranes at their local winter/spring stopover, the Fruitgrower's Reservoir on the flanks of the Mesa. There was much less snow this time last year, but we did enjoy a brief, beautiful, gentle little snowstorm while we wandered up the Escalante Creek between breakfast and lunch.
